Our Story
Mingle was born during the global lockdowns of 2020—a season that changed how people lived, gathered, and connected. At a time when physical distance created emotional isolation for many, Mingle began as a safe online space where people could still come together, engage meaningfully, build friendships, and experience community despite being apart.
Rooted in faith and inspired by the teachings and ministry of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Mingle was established as a community shaped by the culture of Loveworld exceptionalism—reflecting excellence, love, intentionality, and impact in the way people connect and grow together.
What began as virtual conversations soon became something much greater. Across cities, countries, and continents, genuine relationships were formed and lifelong friendships emerged. Over time, many members of the community found meaningful relationships that led to beautiful marriage stories—including cross-country and cross-continent marriages that began through simple conversations and intentional connection within Mingle.
As a community that values marriage and family, Mingle intentionally creates opportunities for people to meet, build authentic friendships, grow in faith, and pursue relationships with purpose. While every journey is unique, we encourage our community members to mingle intentionally, build meaningful connections, and, where aligned in purpose and values, cultivate relationships that can lead to marriage.
Today, Mingle continues to grow beyond its beginnings into a vibrant faith-based community where conversations become connections, connections become community, and community creates lasting impact. Because meaningful relationships can change lives—and no one should have to journey alone.
