Testimonials

One conversation. One connection. One God-ordained journey.

One of the most memorable days of my life was 17th December 2020. During the lockdown, PTT made a post on Mingle and, like many others, we joined the conversation. That day, I noticed someone whose interaction stood out to me. Later that evening, I sent her a direct message, and we began talking. By the third day, she asked me what my intentions were. My answer was simple and intentional: acquaintance, friendship, relationship, and marriage.

At first, she said it would never happen—but over time, our friendship grew into something beautiful. We eventually met in person during IPPC in November 2021, and in that moment, I knew she was the one. Two weeks later, I proposed, and by September 2022, we were married.

I remain grateful to God for this incredible journey and thankful for the vision behind Mingle—a community that created the space for meaningful, faith-centered connections.

A Home Where Love Found Us

Mingle is a home. Mingle is a house full of love! Mingle is a place where everyone can be seen and heard. Mingle is a place of refuge.

I remain deeply grateful to God and to the fatherly guidance, wisdom, and support we received throughout our journey. Looking back, every step unfolded beautifully and beyond our expectations—marked by grace, provision, and God’s faithfulness.

One of the greatest gifts from this journey was not just our wedding, but the overwhelming love and support we experienced from the Mingle community. We were genuinely surprised by the kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness shown to us—it reminded us that Mingle is more than a community; it is family.

If you’re new to mingle. I can tell you that I found my lover, my girlfriend, my wife and my Spinal cord in mingle. That’s my testimony. You will share yours too.

How I met my Wife on Mingle

Our story began in 2023 when I became a Moderator and Follow-Up Coordinator in the Mingle Community. That’s where I first got to know my wife, who was also serving in the same team. She was reserved, kept to herself, and rarely responded to direct messages—so most of our early interactions were simply around coordinating meetings and community activities.

Everything changed in early 2024 when our Follow-Up group became more active and engaging. Through the conversations and shared moments, I began to notice a different side of her—warm, thoughtful, and full of life.

In March 2024, she reached out to apologise for missing a meeting, and what started as a simple conversation gradually became something more. A few weeks later, our conversations extended beyond Bible study into genuinely getting to know each other.

Within two weeks, I expressed my interest in her. She asked for time to think and, when she said yes, that marked the beginning of our journey together.

Today, we are grateful for a community that gave us the opportunity not only to serve but also to find each other.

Mingle brought us together through purpose, and God turned it into forever.
